Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description:

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to patients/residents in accordance with scope of practice and organizational policies
• Assist Registered Nurses and healthcare teams with patient assessments, care planning, and implementation of treatment plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor for effectiveness and adverse reactions
• Monitor, record, and report changes in patients’ conditions accurately and promptly
• Support activities of daily living including hygiene, mobility, nutrition, and comfort
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Ensure infection prevention and control standards are adhered to at all times
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic patient care
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and families
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment
• Participate in handovers, case discussions, and team meetings
• Adhere to professional, ethical, and legal standards of nursing practice
• Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and escalate concerns as required
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
• Supervise and support care assistants where applicable
