VMware Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

• 3–8 years of hands-on experience with VMware and Linux administration.
• Proficiency with VMware vSphere , vCenter, ESXi, and related technologies.
• Strong command-line expertise in Linux (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.).
• Experience with scripting and automation (Bash, Python, Ansible).
• Solid understanding of TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls , and network troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery tools and methodologies.
• Design, deploy, and manage VMware vSphere environments (ESXi, vCenter, vSAN, DRS, HA, etc.).
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux servers , including performance tuning, security hardening, and patch management.
• Automate infrastructure tasks using scripts and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Bash, Python).
