Process Technician – Chemical / GMP Manufacturing
We are seeking a motivated Process Technician to join our manufacturing team. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in Chemical Engineering or related technical disciplines who thrive in a fast-paced, regulated environment and are comfortable working on a 12-hour rotating shift .
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Technical (60%)
- Operate and monitor production processes in compliance with approved SOPs.
- Maintain plant facilities and ensure housekeeping standards are met.
- Communicate process status updates clearly during shifts and handovers.
- Monitor trends and respond to alarms using DCS DeltaV and PLC HMI systems.
- Conduct product sampling and perform routine equipment cleaning (manual, CIP, COP).
- Support commissioning and validation activities as required.
- Complete all mandatory training and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.
Safety (15%)
Ensure a safe working environment in line with EHS policies and regulatory requirements.Manage proper segregation and disposal of chemical waste per SOP.Quality (15%)
Maintain accurate and complete records in compliance with GMP standards.Uphold data integrity and ensure the facility remains audit-ready.Support investigations by providing inputs on impact assessments and CAPAs.Schedule (10%)
Ensure processes run on schedule with minimal delays and proactively report issues.Qualifications & Skills
Diploma in Chemical Engineering or equivalent technical discipline required .At least 1 year of experience in a chemical or GMP manufacturing environment required .Ability to work on 12-hour rotating shifts (day / night) required .Strong interpersonal and communication skills required .Tell employers what skills you have
