Job descriptionPlan and develop audit strategies, perform risk assessment, and design audit procedures. Collaborate with the client to understand their business. Conduct fieldwork, gather and analyse financial data, verify transactions, identify discrepancies, and assess compliance with accounting principles and regulations. Prepare audit documentation, findings, and recommendations. Review financial statements in accordance with the applicable financial reporting framework. Maintain regular communication with clients, discuss audit progress, address inquiries, and provide guidance on best practices and regulatory framework. Stay updated on auditing standards and financial reporting standards. Conduct research and apply technical knowledge to resolve complex auditing and accounting issues.
Roles & Responsibilities
Requirements :
- A bachelor's degree in accounting or ACCA.
- At least 2 years of relevant external audit experience in a professional firm
- Professional qualification such as Chartered Accountant ("CA") or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants ("ACCA") is preferred.
