- Min 2 to 5 years of sales experience in import & export business (forwarding & trading activities).
- Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint ( High Presentation level is required ).
- Knowledge in Engineering Plastics, Rubber / PU application & Rubber / PU machine operation would be preferred but this is not a must
Our client is an international chemical trading and investment MNC backed by a blue-chip parent co which is stable and established. It is based in town (right next to a MRT station). This MNC offers flexi work arrangements (some WFH days is allowed).
For this role, you are part of the Sales and Marketing of Engineering Plastics & Polymers in Asia Pacific within Asia Pacific. Key functions :
Set up credit line, review and analyze financial status of customers and manage credit control in accordance with our company’s requirementsCoordinating with oversea offices for existing and potential customers of expanding sales.Build strong relationship with suppliers.Planning & strategizing with suppliers to achieve the company’s short term & long-term goal.Work on monthly or weekly pricing from suppliers to customers / distributorsPerform half yearly reviews on sales budget set with suppliers / distributorsPrepare monthly sales result / report or as and when requiredEstablish strong relationships with customers and create synergy and maximizing business opportunity share from the customersSupport sale presentations to customers for new product gradeManage and coordinate customer support activities, allowed by the principal, for the assigned customer base and to manage assigned personnel to maximize profit, growth and industry awareness within the boundaries set in the product marketing strategies / objectives.Maintain regulatory compliance of activities in assigned areasSupport principal in realizing the sales budget for the assigned customers according to the fixed price list provided by the principalManage outstanding invoices / customers’ complaint ownerProvide market intelligence and share within the team.Manage end user relations by coordinating agent activities, technical services, marketing, and distribution in areaBe a strong team playerBe prepared to travel frequently on business trips (e.g. can be 1 or 2 trips per mth as a rough estimate) in Asian region. Entertainment with guests and business associates in the evening is sometimes required.Requirements
