Therapy Assistant

Overview

Therapy Assistant role at Ang Mo Kio- Thye Hua Kwan Hospital. This position involves assisting therapists in delivering quality care to patients in a community hospital setting.

Responsibilities

Prepare, transfer and porter patients for therapy sessions.

Assist therapists in daily patient treatment, including walking patients and basic care training.

Use electrophysical agents for pain relief under the therapist's prescription.

Maintain patient treatment timetable and portering schedules.

Assist with billing and maintain daily statistics of treatment attendance.

Maintain therapy equipment and supplies.

Perform clerical duties such as filing and photocopying when necessary.

Provide feedback on issues related to patient care.

Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the therapy department.

Requirements

Minimum WSQ Higher Certificate in Therapy Support.

Those without WSQ Certification but with relevant experience will be considered.

Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.

Enjoy working in a Community Hospital setting.
