Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Development Officer to support the Director of Business Development in preparing client-facing documents, proposals, and onboarding materials. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of experience in trust and compliance, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and client due diligence processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of business proposals, pitch decks, and client presentations.
- Support the onboarding process for new clients, including KYC documentation and compliance checks.
- Coordinate with internal teams (legal, compliance, operations) to ensure smooth client onboarding.
- Maintain and update business development documentation and templates.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support strategic initiatives.
- Track and report on business development activities and pipeline progress.
- Ensure all documentation complies with internal policies and regulatory standards.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field.1–2 years of experience in trust, compliance, or a related financial services role.Familiarity with KYC, AML, and regulatory compliance frameworks.Strong written and verbal communication skills.High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Ability to work under pressure in order to meet tight deadlines.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Tell employers what skills you have
