Roles & Responsibilities
he clinic manager / assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the efficient operation of a GP clinic. This position involves a combination of administrative tasks, patient interaction, and organizational responsibilities.
Communicate effectively and professionally with patients and visitors upon arrival and leaving.
Dispense medication with clear instructions regarding tests, medications, and follow-up care.
Efficiently schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar.
Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries.
Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details.
Collect payment.
Assist with the completion of necessary forms and paperwork.
Handle billing and insurance claims.
Manage electronic systems.
Able to correspond between patients and healthcare professional (doctors) if required.
Works well in a team to ensure smooth workflow.
Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the clinic space.
Order and manage inventory of medical supplies.
REQUIREMENTS
Min. O levels / polytechnic diploma
Prior experience as a clinic assistant / manager will be given an advantage.
Having knowledge on “HealthierSG” or other health programmes are a bonus.
Having experience with GP Connect EMR will be a bonus.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures will be a bonus.
Proficiency in using computer systems and healthcare software.
Highly motivated and eager to upskill and learn.
Team player.
