Roles & Responsibilities

Job scope :

• You will assess, diagnose, and implement treatments for a range of problems related to the foot and lower limbs in the primary care setting.
• Using your specialist skills, you will treat a broad spectrum of patients ranging from low-risk foot conditions such as corns, calluses, and pathological nail conditions, musculoskeletal cases to high-risk diabetic foot ulcers.
• You will also be involved in the prescription of custom-made foot orthoses.
• In addition, you will educate patients and family members or caregivers on preventive foot care and the continued treatment of disorders, and conduct talks relating to foot care.
• You will also contribute towards continuous quality improvement in the department and provide guidance to trainees and students.
