Purchaser
We are looking for an experienced Purchaser to join our construction team. You will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring construction materials, equipment, and services to support projects, ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.
Responsibilities
- Work with Project Managers, Engineers, and Site Supervisors to plan material needs
- Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers / subcontractors
- Obtain and compare quotations, negotiate prices, and prepare purchase orders
- Monitor budgets, track market prices, and recommend cost savings
- Ensure on-time delivery to sites and resolve supply or quality issues
- Maintain accurate procurement records and compliance with regulations
Requirements
Diploma / Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related fieldMinimum 2–3 years’ purchasing experience in the construction industryStrong knowledge of construction materials and suppliers in SingaporeExcellent negotiation, communication, and organisational skillsProficient in MS Office and ERP / purchasing softwareTell employers what skills you have
