Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description

• Equipment Inspection and Maintenance : Regularly inspect and maintain port equipment to ensure normal operation, promptly identify and resolve potential issues to prevent equipment failure from affecting port operations.
• Troubleshooting and Repair : Respond quickly and troubleshoot when equipment malfunctions, ensuring equipment is restored to normal operation as soon as possible.
• Operation Guidance and Training : Provide training on equipment use and maintenance to port operators, ensuring they are familiar with equipment functions and can operate it correctly, reducing operational errors.
• Equipment Commissioning and Installation : Perform on-site commissioning for newly purchased or upgraded equipment, ensure the equipment meets technical requirements, and assist with installation and debugging.
• Communication and Coordination with Clients : Regularly communicate with port management and equipment users, understand the equipment's operational status, promptly address any issues, and provide suggestions for improvements.
• Data Recording and Reporting : Record the equipment's operational status, maintenance activities, and fault analysis, and provide detailed reports to relevant departments for equipment management and improvements.
• Parts Management and Replacement : Manage equipment parts, regularly check spare parts inventory, and ensure that necessary components can be promptly replaced when equipment issues arise.
• Safety Supervision : Ensure equipment operation complies with safety regulations, participate in port safety training, identify safety hazards, and suggest corrective actions.
• These responsibilities help maintain the efficient operation of equipment, improve port operation efficiency, and ensure the overall safety and smooth running of port operations.
