Crane Operator

Key

Responsibilities :

Operate

cranes to lift and move materials, equipment, and other heavy

loads

• Follow safety procedures and guidelines

to ensure that all work is performed safely and

efficiently

• Perform routine maintenance and

inspections on cranes and related equipment

Communicate regularly with supervisors and other team members to

ensure that work is progressing as planned

Maintain accurate records of crane operations and maintenance

activities

• Follow directions from supervisors

and other experienced operators to perform tasks safely and

efficiently

• Participate in training and

development activities to improve skills and

knowledge

• Perform other related duties as

assigned

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum of 2

years of experience operating cranes on construction sites or other

job sites

• Good understanding of crane

operation and safety procedures

• Valid crane

operator certification and / or state license

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and

specifications

• Familiarity with rigging

techniques and equipment

• Ability to work

effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Strong

organizational and time management skills

Willingness to work in a variety of environments and

conditions

• Good communication skills
