Position Summary
We are seeking a proactive, hands-on HR Executive (Generalist) to run day-to-day HR operations in Singapore and to coordinate regional initiatives with local HR teams in Malaysia (MY) and China (CN). The role requires an independent, structured operator who can standardise processes, ensure compliance in SG, and partner with business leaders and country HR to deliver consistent practices across Alpha X.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day HR operations : onboarding / offboarding, employee data integrity, HR letters, records, and version control.
- Prepare and verify monthly payroll inputs; coordinate with Finance / vendors for processing and statutory submissions (e.g., CPF, SHG funds), and support IRAS filings (IR8A / IR21).
- Handle work pass administration (EP / S Pass / Dependant Pass) including applications, renewals, and cancellations via MOM EP Online.
- Administer benefits, leave, insurance, and government claims (e.g., GPPL, NS make-up pay); maintain accurate policy and eligibility records.
- Support statutory compliance and reporting (CPF Board, IRAS, OED survey, and other returns); keep SOPs / policies current.
- Assist recruitment operations : maintain job postings, schedule interviews, prepare offers / contracts, and maintain job grade records.
- Prepare periodic HR reports (headcount, turnover, training, hiring pipeline) and support internal / external audits.
- Coordinate cross-country HR initiatives (policies, SOPs, handbooks, HRIS / process improvements) with MY HR and CN / TW HR, ensuring alignment without duplicating country-owned statutory processing.
- Perform any ad-hoc duties assigned by the Company as and when required.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s in Human Resource Management, Business Admin, or related field.3–5 years of broad HR experience with exposure to payroll and work-pass handling.Good knowledge of Singapore Employment Act and MOM regulations; regional exposure (MY / TW / CN) an advantage.Proficient in MS Office, HRIS, and SharePoint.Meticulous, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.Strong integrity, communication, and service orientation.Preferred / Additional
The role is Singapore-based with possible regional HR support and cross-country collaboration.Comfortable working in a start-up or fast-growing environment, where processes are still evolving and hands-on involvement is required.Good command of English and Mandarin to liaise with regional offices.IHRP or SHRM certification (or in progress) is an added advantage.Tell employers what skills you have
