M&E Engineer (ACMV)

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities :

• Coordinate M&E design with other disciplines (structural, architectural, civil) to ensure smooth integration.
• Design and review mechanical and electrical systems (HVAC, fire protection, lighting, power, etc.) in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Prepare design calculations, drawings, and technical specifications for M&E systems
• Able to assist client for Value Engineering
• Conversant with Singapore building codes and regulations
• Demonstrate effective communication and consultative skills
• Provide guidance and support to project teams in the implementation of successful M&E practices.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures throughout the project.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and develop solutions to avoid delays or cost overruns.
• Supervise and inspect the installation of M&E systems to ensure they are compliant with design specifications, safety standards, and regulations.
• Conduct regular site visits and liaise with contractors to ensure quality control and timely execution of works.
• Ensure that all M&E works are completed in line with safety and environmental regulations.
• Oversee the commissioning and testing of M&E systems to ensure they are fully functional and meet designintent.
• Prepare regular reports on M&E progress for internal stakeholders and clients.
• Ensure that project documentation is complete and accurate, including as-built drawings, operation manuals,and maintenance schedules.
• Preparation of Variation Orders to clients and valuation of Vendor’s progress Claim.
