JOB PURPOSE
The Project Manager is responsible for the successful planning and execution of infrastructure and cloud migration projects for clients across multiple sectors however with a strong focus for the financial sector, with strict alignment to PMP best practices and MAS regulatory requirements. This includes leading projects involving Microsoft technologies, such as Azure cloud adoption, Windows Server upgrades, and virtualization using Hyper-V and / or Microsoft Cloud technologies.
The role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, while meeting quality, security, and compliance expectations in regulated / governed environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Project Management & Execution
- Lead end-to-end project delivery for cloud migrations, on-prem server upgrades, virtualisation, and hybrid IT transformations using Microsoft technologies.
- Define detailed project scope, schedule, resource plans, and risk assessments based on PMP methodology.
- Manage multiple concurrent infrastructure projects with dependencies across internal and external teams.
- Track milestones and KPIs across project timelines, using tools such as Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
2. Regulatory Compliance (MAS)
Ensure project design and delivery aligns with MAS Technology Risk Management (TRM) guidelines and other applicable regulatory frameworks.Work closely with risk, compliance, and audit teams to identify and implement security controls required for MAS compliance during infrastructure or cloud projects.Maintain project documentation and governance records in accordance with MAS expectations (e.g., change records, risk logs, audit trails).3. Cloud & Infrastructure Focus
Deliver and manage Microsoft Azure-based cloud transformation initiatives, including infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS), identity management (Azure AD), and workload migration.Oversee virtualization projects (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware) and Windows Server upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.Coordinate activities involving Microsoft 365 services, security hardening, backup and disaster recovery configuration, and server decommissioning.4. Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination
Act as the single point of contact for internal stakeholders, banking clients, technical engineers, and third-party vendors.Manage communications across cross-functional teams including networking, security, compliance, and application owners.Lead steering committee updates, status reports, and escalation meetings, especially where delays, risks, or regulatory issues arise.5. Risk, Budget & Quality Control
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks proactively, including technical, compliance, and resourcing risks.Ensure all infrastructure and cloud projects are delivered on-budget, with proper documentation for cost controls and financial reporting.Monitor deliverables to ensure adherence to quality, performance, and regulatory benchmarks.6. Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent level of real-world experience.PMP certification required. Agile or Scrum certifications an advantage.Minimum 5+ years of project management experience in IT infrastructure and / or cloud transformation.Proven experience managing projects involving Microsoft Azure, Hyper-V / VMware, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and related platforms.Familiarity with MAS TRM guidelines, PDPA, and IT governance frameworks applicable to Singapore financial institutions.Experience coordinating banking sector client projects with strict SLAs and change management controls.7.
