Job description

Curriculum & Programme

Development

Work with

Management to ensure the alignment of the curriculum, teaching, and

learning approaches with centre's mission and vision, LeClare's

SPROUT Values, as well as licensing / SPARK requirements

Collaborate with the principal and teaching team to

consistently assess and improve practices, including effective

management, assessment practices, etc

Ability

to lead the team with Inquiry, balancing it with academic

preparation for primary school

Demonstrate

mastery with Jolly Phonics / Grammar for the team's effective

implementation

Demonstrate understanding of

LeClare's bilingual (Mandarin) programme and work with Mandarin ST

to ensure an effective Mandarin Curriculum

Programme

Management

Share and

lead in the reflection of teacher practices, including ideas / advise

on enriching routine care to build relationships, learning moments

and to better classroom management and leading teachers in their

reflection of their disciplinary tactics

Demonstrate ability to advocate ethical behaviour and

professionalism among colleagues

Ensure the

team's continuous professional development through

training

Parent

Communication & Partnerships

To identify new opportunities for increased

engagement / involvement of parents and broader LeClare family (i.e.

guardians / grandparents) throughout the children's time at

LeClare

Work with teachers to identify and

address systemic barriers against effective communication with

families and community

stakeholders

Operation

Excellence

Plans and

organizes the day-to-day school and class SOP's and operational

functions pertaining to children's care and well-being, health,

hygiene and safety

practices

Requirements :

  • At least a Bachelor degree in ECE

Excellent communication skills - spoken and written

English

Strong interpersonal skills, work with

all levels of staff, professionals, parents and families, and

community partners from diverse nationalities and

cultures

At least 4 years of early childhood

experience and 2 years in curriculum development with the capacity

to teach and implement innovative curriculum

practices
