Semicon Equipment Director, North (Experience in Wafer Fabrication Equipment)

Job

• Devise strategies to ensure growth of programs enterprise-wide, identifying and implementing equipment improvements that will maximize output and minimize costs.
• Decide on operations matters and ensure operations’ effective achievement of objectives.
• Own & Drive the equipment KPI’s & performance indices (for eg. Uptime, OEE, OPE, MTTR and other related).
• To drive productivity and cost improvement thru uph, uptime, automation, process simplification.
• Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for the day-to-day performance of the operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks
• Responsible for guiding subordinates in resolving yield and quality issues, related to equipment.
• To lead / coach managers in driving yield, quality and productivity.
• Support manufacturing goals / NPI / engineering activities / quality performance mtgs / manage related issues.
• To lead & drive material / consumable cost reduction programs, through value engineering programs.
• Sustain and provide continuous improvement yield / quality / productivity through planning, evaluating, verifying and executing procedures to ensure that products meet all customers’ requirements.
• Daily equipment review / monitoring of equipment performance matrices and cross support manufacturing performance.
• Analyse current operational process and performance, recommending solutions for improvement when necessary.
• Ensures that company / department goals are met.
• Able to cohesively co-work with all supporting groups & process and manufacturing team.
