The Role
The Assistant Marketing Manager plays a key supporting role in planning and delivering integrated public relations and marketing communication strategies to drive market share and build brand love. This person supports through-the-line marketing efforts from creative development and execution to driving online and offline marketing, public relations and partnership efforts.
Support the execution of annual communications and public relations plan to drive awareness and revenue across all customer segments.
Support the creative and print development of hotel collaterals, creative artworks and copy for hotel including F&B, rooms, weddings, events and any third-party collaboration, events or promotions, ensuring full alignment with hotel and brand positioning.
Support execution of hotel and F&B advertising plan in accordance with the hotel's goals and objectives.
Act as brand custodian and assist in briefing both internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to brand guidelines as appropriate in all hotel communications.
Support and coordinate video and photo shoots for the hotel, both internal and external, ensuring hotel multimedia library is well maintained and up-to-date.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate and support marketing activities including events, promotions and partnerships.
Monitor relevant activities of competitor hotels and trends within the industry.
Assist in preparation of marketing communications report and to support in other administrative tasks as needed.
Support media hosting opportunities as appropriate.
Support in the preparation of any press materials including press releases, statements, and media FAQS, ensuring press kit folder and materials are kept up-to-date.
Assist with media monitoring and preparation of any public relations report as required.
Support execution of digital marketing campaigns and projects.
Support content creation and maintenance of hotel content and initiatives on all online channels including owned and third-party platforms.
Assist with creating engaging social media content for channels including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, as well as maintaining a robust social media calendar that drives awareness, engagement and follower growth.
Assist with online reputation management through timely crafting and coordination of responses for the hotel across multiple platforms.
Talent Profile
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in marketing and public relations, preferably in the hospitality, F&B, or luxury sector.
Proven track record of leading marketing campaigns and media relations efforts that drive measurable results.
Experience managing creative agencies, vendors, and internal cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder and media engagement.
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Creative problem-solver with analytical skills to assess campaign effectiveness.
High attention to detail and ability to ensure consistency in messaging and branding.
