Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description : -

Perform installation and maintenance of network, server, storage, security equipment.
Configure and upgrade hardware, firmware and software for the centre.
Prepare and set up the centre according to the testing requirements
Provide operation and support for equipment. Diagnose hardware and software problems, and arrange for defective components to be replaced
Setup of simulated networks for training including the setup of networks, operating systems, virtualization, databases, application servers and cyber monitoring systems and ‘scenarios’ for training
Develop, test and implement custom scripts to enhance range operations.
Coordinate and follow-up with vendors, system administrators and project teams to resolve issues in the environments.
Troubleshoot and manage end-to-end availability, capacity, change, configuration, incident and problem management of range system.
Perform documentation for system design and development implementation and support works performed.

Job Requirements : -

At least 3 years of working experience dealing with Data Center infra. E.g. Hands on experience working with physical servers and networking equipment such as switches, routers, firewalls.

Lead a team of 2-3 engineers.

Min. 1 year of virtualization technology experience such as Virtual Machines. Knowledge in VMware products, ESXI , VCenter. Know how to setup virtualized network of VMs and vSwitches is a plus.

Must have CCNA certification or equivalent as the candidate is required to assign IPs, VLANs etc, port forwarding etc.

Familiar with cyber technologies is a plus, such as understanding firewall, SIEM, Antivirus, SSL, system logs etc.

Good communication skills dealing with end customers. Able to discuss with them on daily tasks, prioritize the work loads and assign out tasks to the engineers.

Work location : Candidate shall be based onsite at an army camp located in Choa Chu Kang.
