Business Analyst

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly experienced and bilingual in English and Mandarin Senior Business Analyst to drive the requirement collection, planning, design, and implementation of complex enterprise applications, as part of bank solution delivery with GenAI-powered refactoring initiative. This role requires deep bank business understanding, exceptional business acumen, and the ability to bridge communication between business stakeholders, and technical teams. You will play a pivotal role in shaping solutions within the domains of financial institution’s software transformation journey.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation (use cases, business process, functional/non-functional specs), and result validation.

· Design and optimize business processes related to banking industry (retail loan, retail and SME mobile banking).

· Translate bank’s business into clear, actionable technical specifications and solution proposal with SA team.

· Act as the primary liaison between client’s business units (Product, Marketing, Sales, BAU, Technology department) and internal teams (BAs, SAs, developers and DevOps).

· Analyze and model data flows and system integrations, particularly for system integration part.

· Support testing strategies, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and solution deployment.

· Provide post-implementation support and analysis for continuous improvement.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

· Mandatory Technical Foundation: Minimum of 3 years of experience in bank industry, familiar with retail loans and mobile banking.

· Core BA Expertise: Proven track record with at least 2 years of experience in business analysis, specifically focused on requirements management for large-scale, complex enterprise applications.

· Agile Project Management: knowledge and practical experience in agile project environment.

· Location: Must be based in Singapore and legally eligible to work there full-time.

Desired Skills & Attributes

· Expertise in document business requirement and business process via modeling (BPMN, UML) and other BA tools.

· Proficiency with BA tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Visio, enterprise BA tools).

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

· Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented with a strong sense of ownership.

Preferred (Nice-to-Have)

· Formal certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA).

· Agile Certification (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster - CSM, Professional Scrum Master - PSM, PMI-ACP).

· Experience with global trading and risk management solutions.
