Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Partial Discharge (PD) On-Site Testing

  • Perform PD testing on HV assets (switchgear, transformers, cables).
  • Use PD equipment : acoustic, thermal, UHF, TEV, HF sensors.
  • Operate PD analysis software and follow IEC / IEEE standards.
  • Record test data : readings, conditions, asset info and generate field test reports.

Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) Site Work

  • Supervise electrical installation work to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Read and interpret single-line diagrams.
  • Oversee installation of LV switchgear, distribution boards, and wiring.
  • Perform switching operations on LV systems.
  • Diagnose basic electrical faults.
  • Submit reports and diagrams to EMA / SPPG.

    • Work Conditions

  • 70% field work , 30% work-from-home.
  • Work sites include substations and commercial / industrial facilities.
  • High responsibility role with focus on safety and compliance.

    • Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s / Diploma in Electrical Power Engineering
  • 3 years of experience with Partial Discharge / electrical site testing
  • LEW G8 certified will be a big plus
  • Training will be provided for those without experience.

    • Bonus Skills

  • Ability to read Python code.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar software.
