Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description & Requirements

  • Management of network incidents escalations from L1 / L2, incident and problem and security incident response.
  • Responsible to work with the respective infra tower teams in troubleshooting and identify root cause, related to network.
  • Responsible to work with the respective network vendors’ support teams for the troubleshooting, identification and resolution of network problems.
  • Handling of the critical network incidents under pressure situations to resolve in timely manner to minimize the business impact.
  • Able to use technical knowledge to proactively identify the potential network problems and imminent business impact areas and prevent the same. Able to guide junior members in team for the same.
  • Work extended hours (weekday evening, weekends) if needed

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information technology,computer Science , networking or related field
  • 10+ years of professional working experience, focusing on Network
  • 8+ years of network operation experiences
  • Expertise in network protocols, architectures , and technologies ( e.g. TCP / IP, BGP , MPLS, MP-BGP, EVPN)
  • In-depth understanding of the networking concepts – Routing, switching , LAN / WAN, Sapnning Tree protocol, HSRP, ARP,VLAN, Inter-VLAN Routing, OSPF, BGP, VxLAN, Cisco ACI, VxLAN BGP eVPN, SDA, SDWAN etc.
  • Hands on experience on routers and switches for advanced troubleshooting of the network related problems and incidents.
  • Advanced hands-on experience on troubleshooting complex network problems.
  • Logical and analytical thinking and problem analysis skills to troubleshoot complex network problem to isolate the root cause and provide suitable resolution
  • Strong problem-solving skills and positive attitude .
  • Excellent team player and strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • CCIE / CCNA Certification is must
  • Data center experience is must
  • Must have exposure with Banking / Fintech clients or projects.
