Role Summary :

The IT / IOT Solution Management will play a strategic role

in designing and delivering cross-functional solutions that

leverage for example EDP's IoT and Data platforms.

This position requires close collaboration with various

business areas to ensure alignment with the company's digital

strategy and Reference Architecture, driving innovation and value

across the organization.

The role demands

strong expertise in Cloud development and SaaS applications (with a

particular focus on Microsoft Azure), as well as a solid

understanding of application integration to promote the reuse of

existing methods and processes. Act as the lead point of contact to

work with vendors, auditors and internal staff to maintain

compliance with audit

guidelines.

Responsibilities : Business

Collaboration & Strategic Enablement

Work closely with various business areas to design and

build cross-functional solutions that create value for EDP's

business and digital

strategy.

Reference Architecture

Implementation

Promote and apply the

Reference Architectures and its underlying technologies in

collaboration with relevant stakeholders, including project and

development teams.

Ensure alignment with

architectural standards and development best practices across

EDP.

Technology Enablement &

Development

Demonstrate knowledge of

IoT development techniques and technologies, contributing to the

enablement and evolution of tools, standards, and practices within

EDP.

Innovation & Market

Monitoring

Continuously monitor and

evaluate emerging technologies and market trends, identifying

opportunities for improvement or adoption across the

Group.

Use Case

Application

Apply the Reference

Architecture to identified use cases, ensuring technical

feasibility and business

relevance.

Data Acquisition &

Enrichment

Identify and integrate new

data sources, IoT-related or otherwise, that can enrich the EDPR

Sunseap Corporate Datalake.

Evaluate new

methods and technologies for data acquisition in alignment with the

EDP / EDPR Architecture Team.

Datalake

Management

Manage and maintain the

Datalake, ensuring its performance, governance, and alignment with

strategic data

initiatives.

Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer

Science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of

experience in IT / IOT architecture

Azure and

AWS Cloud (PaaS / IaaS), with knowledge on Cloud Security. Azure IoT

will be added advantage.

Microsoft Certified :

Azure IoT Developer Specialty. TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect, or

other relevant architecture certifications, will be added

advantage.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in

IT architecture.

Experience with database

technologies such as Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, as well as

cloud-native solutions like Azure SQL, CosmosDB, and Data

Lakes.

Development experience with Java,

JavaScript, .NET, Python, and cloud-based data processing tools

such as Azure Functions, Event Hub, and Stream

Analytics.

Knowledge of virtualization and

operating systems, including VMware, Linux, and Windows

Server.

Strong understanding of cloud

infrastructure (Azure, AWS), networking (LAN, Wireless, WAN), and

security components (Firewalls, Load Balancers, VPNs, ExpressRoute,

SD-WAN).

Experience in IT Vendor and Service

Management, including SLA monitoring, contract management, and

service optimization.

Ability to manage and

execute cloud infrastructure projects, including cloud migrations,

hybrid cloud implementations, security hardening, and

automation.

Understanding of FinOps and

Capacity Management, with experience in cost optimization and

resource forecasting for cloud environments.

Excellent attention to detail and a

customer / service-oriented mindset.

Strong

analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to

troubleshoot system, process, and data issues.

Effective written and verbal communication skills to

collaborate with global teams and stakeholders.

Commitment to quality delivery and ability to work in a

collaborative environment.

Knowledge of the

Energy & Utilities sector (valued).
