Vice President, Political Risk & Structured Credit

Job descriptionBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Finance or Banking ideally. Strong political risk insurance and credit insurance knowledge with 5-7 years of related work experience. Possess broad technical knowledge across commodity finance, trade finance, asset backed finance and project finance transactions. Pro‑active and able to work independently. Good communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Strong relationships with insurers. A self‑starter with a proactive and energetic approach. Excellent people management, time management, presentation and problem solving skills. Good communication and written skills in English. Highly motivated and a team player with good interpersonal skills while concurrently being able to work proactively and work independently where required. Positive attitude towards work and learning. We are seeking a talented individual to join our Credit Specialties team at Marsh. This role will be based in Singapore. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
You will join as a professional individual contributor and be part of Marsh’s Credit Specialties team in Asia taking a key role in the management, servicing and growth of existing client accounts.
We will count on you to :
- Independently manage key PRSC accounts and be responsible for key deliverables and revenue.
- Proactively identify and develop new PRSC prospects / opportunities, either independently, or with support from team heads and assume an annual new business target associated with this.
- Be familiar with business budgeting processes and monitor performance against budget.
