Role : We’re looking for an Application Support Engineer with PostgreSQL experience to support and enhance the core business applications. In this role, you’ll take ownership of mission-critical systems, solve complex database issues, and drive automation that improves system performance and reliability. You’ll be part of a collaborative, hybrid team that values learning, innovation, and proactive problem-solving. Responsibilities : Develop, review, and optimize PostgreSQL queries, procedures, and scripts. Manage incident and problem resolution, applying root-cause analysis and long-term fixes. Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure smooth operations. Use tools such as Jira, Confluence, Git, Grafana, and Prometheus to manage, monitor, and document your work. Contribute to process automation and explore cloud integrations in AWS. Required Skills : 5+ years of relevant experience in database or application support. Proficiency in PostgreSQL and SQL performance tuning. Working knowledge of Linux and incident / problem management processes. Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate clearly with both technical and business stakeholders. Familiarity with Python for scripting and AWS for cloud-based databases is a plus. Seniority Level
