Laboratory Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Raw materials sampling and laboratory analysis of incoming raw materials, in process, end products, complaints and competitor samples
• Liaise with external laboratory on microb analysis.
• Ensure all tests are performed in a timely manner & in accordance with corporate procedures..
• Advise on significance of test results and follow up with appropriate action
• Conduct environmental control testing and provide feedback to Production.
• Housekeeping of analytical, physical and microbiological laboratories including sensory room
• Responsible for internal calibration.
• Maintain complete and accurate recordings of test results in QA systems via SAP System.
• Keep records of both analytical and microbiological laboratories activities, raw material, environmental report (invisible hygiene) and certificate of analysis of raw materials.
• QA retained sample management.

Requirements :

• NITEC in Applied Food Science
• Good working attitude
• Able to work in warm environment
• Experience in laboratory/testing
• Must be able to perform 12-hr shift
• Able to work with minimum supervision and under pressuring environment
• A team player with a positive attitude
