Roles & Responsibilities
Working Hours :
- Mondays to Thursdays : 7.40am to 2.40pm , inclusive of 30 mins lunch break
- Fridays : 7.40am to 2.40pm , inclusive of 30 mins lunch break
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.
Job Scope :
Ordering of food ingredients;Preparing ingredients for practical lessons and practical examinations;Sourcing for recipes for teachers;Cleaning of 2 kitchens, 1 needlework room and 1 preparation room;Washing of linen;Checking of equipment for condemning and repair;Simple maintenance and repair of equipment;Stock take of ingredients;Preliminary checking of delivery against invoice before submitting to teacher-in-charge;Assist in the preliminary maintenance of loans and damage records , before submitting to teacher-in-chargeWhere necessary, assist teacher in checking of equipment and cleanliness after practical lessonsAny other duties assigned by the subject teachers and School Management.Experience :
Preferably at least a Secondary Education or its equivalentAt least 3 years of experience working in school context or preferably have the relevant knowledge to handle the operations of the Cookery Rooms and Preparation RoomCommunicates well in EnglishGood communication and interpersonal skillsAble to work well as a teamAble to work independentlyTell employers what skills you have
