Deliver data requests in a timely manner, including but not limited to data extraction, data analysis, data solutions and data visualization
Provide advice on best practices for data extraction methods, ensuring reliability and accuracy
Conduct in-depth data analysis and studies into problems raised by business teams
Drive the problem-solving process by suggesting hypotheses and corresponding data solutions
Collaborate with Data Scientists on machine learning models to gain deeper insights into user behaviors
Design and build data pipelines to streamline the retrieval and analysis of key information
Address and fulfill other ad-hoc data requests from Garena teams as required

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field from a reputable university

At least 1 year of experience in a data-related field is preferred. Fresh graduates with strong analytical skills are welcome to apply

Strong in SQL or Python, with good knowledge of statistical modeling and basic understanding of machine learning with prior working experience

Keen interest in AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), with the ability to explore and suggest potential AI-driven solutions to enhance and optimize business processes

Strong logical thinking with the ability to present data insights clearly and effectively

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative attitude

Quick to learn and adaptable to working in a fast-paced environment

Experience and passion in the gaming industry is a plus

Passionate about games in general with at least an entry-level knowledge of the gaming industry
