Responsibilities :
- Oversee company networks and continuously improve IT systems.
- Work closely with the CEO and functional managers to address and support IT needs.
- Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to define opportunities, identify and prioritize IT projects (ROI, productivity, compliance).
- Develop, implement, and follow up on IT strategies for maintaining and upgrading company tools, networks, software, and equipment, including contingency plans for uninterrupted operations.
- Create troubleshooting strategies to minimize downtime and reduce maintenance costs.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend upgrades as needed.
- Proactively share insights on technology risks and opportunities to strengthen competitive advantage and efficiency.
- Provide operational IT support to ensure business needs and CEO expectations are met.
- Meet all operational IT objectives and KPIs.
- Lead the Operations IT Continuous Improvement program.
- Ensure all IT incident tickets are resolved within KPI targets.
- Manage IT hardware and services, including PCs, servers, workstations, tablets, printers, barcode scanners, peripherals, and mobile services.
- Administer software (standard and non-standard) and manage relevant software licenses.
- Execute risk remediation processes, escalate incidents as required, and manage improvement tasks to completion.
- Research and recommend innovative, automated solutions to improve system administration tasks and optimize resources.
- Perform daily system monitoring, verify the integrity and availability of hardware, resources, and processes, and review logs.
- Repair and recover systems after failures, coordinating with impacted departments.
- Conduct performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as needed.
- Maintain data center environmental and monitoring equipment.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to staff and team members.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships through timely communication and meeting deadlines.
- Develop, update, and fine-tune IT SOPs / processes, ensuring alignment with best practices.
- Conduct training for relevant staff to strengthen understanding, skills, and use of IT tools, processes, and equipment.
- Perform any other duties and tasks as requested by CEO and Shareholders.
Requirements :
Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.5 years of proven experience as an IT Manager.Experience managing a team of technologists to deliver IT services and functions.Demonstrated ability to lead IT operations across multiple sites.Track record of implementing best practices in data protection, network security, and backup systems.Advanced knowledge of IT principles, processes, and procedures.Strong awareness of emerging technologies and ability to apply them effectively.Proficient in contract management, procurement practices, and budget controls.Advanced computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).Knowledge of organizational policies, business processes, and relevant legislation.To apply, kindly send your updated resume to cv_edmund@goodjobcreations.com.sg
