Job Description :
The Business Development Director will lead the company’s strategic growth efforts within the interior design and fit-out industry , focusing on client acquisition, partnerships, and market expansion. This role requires a deep understanding of interior design trends, project cycles, and client expectations across commercial, residential, and hospitality sectors.
- Develop and implement business development strategies to grow the company’s client base and market share in the interior design sector.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including direct clients, architects, real estate developers, and contractors.
- Manage and grow a strong sales pipeline through networking, industry events, cold outreach, and referrals.
- Lead proposal development, tender submissions, and contract negotiations with prospective clients.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Work closely with the design, project, and marketing teams to align service offerings with client needs and market demand.
- Conduct competitor analysis and market research to identify emerging trends, pricing models, and new service opportunities.
- Represent the company at exhibitions, trade shows, and business networking events to increase brand visibility and reputation.
- Set and track performance KPIs related to revenue growth, lead conversion, and client retention.
- Oversee the preparation of sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for senior management.
