Roles & Responsibilities

Position : Purchaser

Location : Singapore (East), Tai Seng MRT

Industry : Construction

5-days work weeks

We are looking for a Purchaser to join our dynamic construction team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day procurement activities, coordinate with project teams and suppliers, and ensure smooth purchasing operations that align with project timelines, specifications, and company standards.

Primary Roles & Responsibilities :

Source, negotiate, and purchase materials, equipment, and services in accordance with project and company requirements.

Coordinate and verify with the Project and Site Teams on material purchases, specifications, and requirements.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.

Ensure all purchases comply with project specifications, quality standards, and budget controls.

Ensure proper procurement procedures, documentation, and audit compliance in accordance with company policies.

Monitor delivery schedules to ensure timely receipt of materials and minimize project delays.

Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, supplier performance, and inventory levels.

Prepare purchase orders and handle related documentation for management approval.

Support inventory control, material tracking, and cost monitoring when required.

Undertake any other ad-hoc assignments or duties as assigned from time to time.

Requirements :

Minimum 2 years of relevant purchasing experience in the Singapore construction industry.

Good understanding of construction materials, specifications, and supplier networks.

Strong coordination, negotiation, and communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with procurement and systems.

A team player with good time management, accuracy, and attention to detail.
