About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of IT to lead our regional technology function. This role requires a strong balance of hands-on technical expertise and strategic leadership , with responsibility for driving IT transformation, managing day-to-day infrastructure operations, and aligning technology initiatives with business goals.

The Director of IT will be a key partner to senior management, ensuring our IT strategy enables growth, innovation, and operational excellence across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee regional IT strategy , aligning with business objectives and digital transformation goals.
  • Provide hands-on leadership in managing infrastructure, systems, cybersecurity, and applications (with strong focus on SAP and enterprise platforms).
  • Drive IT transformation initiatives, including system upgrades, process automation, and cloud adoption .
  • Partner closely with business leaders to identify opportunities where technology can enhance performance, efficiency, and customer experience.
  • Oversee the daily operations of IT teams, ensuring service reliability, system uptime, and strong user support.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team across multiple geographies.
  • Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and technology investments effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with IT governance, risk management, and security standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience , with regional exposure in Asia Pacific or equivalent markets.
  • Proven track record in SAP systems, IT infrastructure, and enterprise applications .
  • Strong understanding of cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and digital transformation .
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution .
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to partner at C-suite level.
  • Strong leadership qualities, with experience managing multicultural regional teams .
  • Demonstrated success in leading large-scale IT transformation projects .
