Roles & Responsibilities

Interior designers plan and organise the design of commercial and domestic interiors. Projects may take place in a range of settings, including :

office spaces and industrial premises;

retail locations,

educational institutions and statutory boards,

residential developments

Tasks may include

Meeting of clients / users to understand clients' needs

Attending of site show & get all necessary information ready for proposal

Preparing detailed working drawings, designs, plans, models and schemes, often using computer-aided design (CAD) software

Working in a team with other designers

Deadlines may require working additional hours

Able to work with long hours, weekend and public holiday
