Job Description

• Conduct group level fitness training following lesson plans
• Conduct fitness assessments such as Individual Physical Proficiency Test (IPPT)
• Implement, manage and enforce safe management measures and stipulated rules and regulations
• Reporting of training equipment defects, facility issues and physical or potential hazards
• Perform risk assessment and enforcement of safety measures during training activities
• Assist in organizing events or programmers
• Conduct familiarization and orientation of physical training facilities and equipment
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned
• Mainly weekdays commitment. Weekends and public holidays off

Requirements

• Possess relevant fitness trainer certification, Fitness Instructor Course (FIC), ACE (CPT) or equivalent
• NITEC (Fitness) and Diploma in Sport and Exercise Science
• Possess a valid CPR/AED and Standard First-Aid certification preferred
• Passed IPPT (if eligible)
• Experienced candidates will be considered for senior roles

** Sponsorship of certification courses is also available for candidates who do not have the relevant certificates but are passionate and interested in being fitness trainers.
