Roles & Responsibilities

Assistant Finance Manager

An established international lifestyle brand is seeking an experienced Assistant Finance Manager to provide accounting, tax, financial planning, and strategic analysis support across its Singapore and Southeast Asia operations. This role will work closely with regional and HQ finance teams to ensure compliance, deliver accurate reporting, and support business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee the full spectrum of accounting and finance functions in collaboration with regional and HQ teams.
  • Prepare and present financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory financial reporting and tax requirements.
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes in coordination with regional leadership and HQ.
  • Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations for business growth.
  • Collaborate with HQ on reporting, budgeting, and performance monitoring.
  • Build strong relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Lead, coach, and develop finance team members to achieve operational excellence.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen financial reporting and controls.
  • Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives assigned by management.

Key Requirements :

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in finance or accounting.
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of finance principles and international accounting standards (IFRS).
  • Proven experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills; Power BI proficiency is a plus.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Meticulous, adaptable, and able to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
