System Engineer (Defence) (DSC / JH)

Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description : -

• Perform installation and maintenance of network, server, storage, security equipment.
• Configure and upgrade hardware, firmware and software for the centre.
• Prepare and set up the centre according to the testing requirements
• Provide operation and support for equipment. Diagnose hardware and software problems, and arrange for defective components to be replaced
• Setup of simulated networks for training including the setup of networks, operating systems, virtualization, databases, application servers and cyber monitoring systems and ‘scenarios’ for training
• Develop, test and implement custom scripts to enhance range operations.
• Coordinate and follow-up with vendors, system administrators and project teams to resolve issues in the environments.
• Troubleshoot and manage end-to-end availability, capacity, change, configuration, incident and problem management of range system.
• Perform documentation for system design and development implementation and support works performed.

Job Requirements : -

Work location : Candidate shall be based onsite at an army camp located in Choa Chu Kang.
