Job description

Our organization is seeking a talented Human Resources and Administrative Services Specialist

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support across the entire spectrum of human resources and administrative functions, ensuring seamless daily operations while fostering employee engagement and adherence to compliance standards.

This role encompasses a range of responsibilities including :

  • Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Manage the recruitment process from job posting to onboarding, ensuring a thorough evaluation of candidates.
  • Coordinate pre-employment medical checks and background screenings as per company policy.
  • Prepare and distribute necessary documentation such as the Letter of Appointment, Employee Handbook, and Code of Conduct.
  • Conduct comprehensive new hire orientation and ensure timely registration for time attendance / clocking systems.
  • Issue necessary company property and equipment to new hires.
  • Maintain accurate staff contact lists and personnel files.
  • Employee Records & Administration
  • Establish and maintain up-to-date employee personnel files in accordance with company protocols.
  • Update employee insurance coverage upon onboarding, promotion, or separation.
  • Maintain accurate staff photo boards and locker room assignments.
  • Manage and organize administrative files and documentation.
  • Learning & Development
  • Coordinate training programs designed to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Administer applications and claims related to training grants.
  • Maintain accurate records of training sessions and ensure compliance with statutory and internal requirements.
  • Employee Engagement & Welfare
  • Organize staff events and recreational activities aimed at promoting a positive workplace culture.
  • Develop recognition programs to acknowledge employee contributions.
  • Support initiatives that foster inclusivity and respect within the work environment.
  • Offboarding
  • Facilitate the offboarding process, ensuring clearance forms are completed, exit interviews conducted, and company property returned.
