Founded in 1999, Apex Harmony Lodge (The Lodge) is a 210-bed nursing home dedicated to providing specialized and person-centred care for individuals living with dementia. We strive to be a leader in dementia care, setting benchmarks in clinical excellence, workforce capability building, and system innovation.
The Nurse Manager or Senior Nurse Manager (S)NM plays a critical role in supporting the nursing leadership team to deliver high-quality, person-centred dementia care in alignment with national standards and the Lodge’s care philosophy. This role provides operational leadership, workforce supervision, and quality assurance to ensure consistent, evidence-based nursing practices.
The ( S)NM reports to the Head of Nursing and works closely with nursing, psychosocial, and allied health teams to strengthen care delivery and build staff capability.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Governance & Quality
- Ensure nursing care is delivered in accordance with MOH Enhanced Nursing Standards (ENHS), Healthcare Services Act (HCSA), and Singapore Nursing Board Standards of Practice & Code of Ethics.
- Review Standard Operating Procedures with Domain Expert teams for relevance and alignment to person-centred care principles.
- Lead quality assurance through structured audits, quality improvement (QI) projects, and ongoing analysis of clinical data to improve safety, consistency, and efficiency.
Leadership & Operations
Provide visionary and operational leadership in maintaining high standards of dementia nursing care.Supervise daily nursing operations, ensuring safe, evidence-based, and person-centred practices.Represent nursing teams in internal workgroups and cross-functional collaborations.Workforce Capability Building
Provide training, coaching, supervision, and monitoring to build a capable, compassionate, and forward-looking nursing team.Mentor and support nurses in developing leadership potential and clinical competencies.Facilitate the implementation of ENHS and person-centred care training.Innovation & Technology
Lead the team in harnessing technology to enhance safety, productivity, and person-centred dementia care.Contribute to service improvements and innovative practices that enrich residents’ quality of life.Key Competencies

Degree in Nursing with valid registration under the Singapore Nursing Board (Master’s Degree preferred).At least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.Strong knowledge of MOH regulations, HCSA policies, and clinical audit frameworks.Experience in eldercare and dementia care, with the ability to integrate evidence-based interventions into nursing practice.Prior experience in teaching, curriculum development, or capability building in nursing will be advantageous.Tell employers what skills you have
