We are seeking a proactive and results-driven General Insurance Business Development Executive to drive the growth of our general insurance portfolio. This role focuses on developing new business opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and working closely with underwriters, brokers, and the operations team to deliver customized general insurance solutions to clients across various sectors.
šÆ Key Responsibilities
š§© Business Development & Sales
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in general insurance
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of general insurance prospects across SME and corporate segments.
- Conduct sales visits, presentations, and negotiations with clients.
- Meet and exceed assigned premium and revenue targets.
š£ Client Relationship Management
Build long-term relationships with clients by understanding their general insurance risk exposures and offering tailored insurance solutions.Act as the key point of contact for clients, providing support during renewals, endorsements, and claims.š Market Intelligence & Product Development
Keep abreast of general insurance market trends, pricing developments, and regulatory changes in Singapore, Malaysia, and globally.Collaborate with internal teams and underwriters to develop innovative general insurance packages that meet market demands.š¤ Networking & Branding
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking platforms.š§ Requirements

Qualifications
Diploma / Degree in any related fields.Certification in Insurance (e.g. BCP / PGI / HI or equivalent MII qualifications) is a strong advantage.ā
Experience
2ā5 years of experience in insurance industry. Preferably with sales experienceā
Skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Sales-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and meet targets.Strong negotiation and presentation skills.Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.š Why Join Us?
