What the role is :

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative individual to join the Research and Strategy Management Division (RSM) at MND, to enhance the organisation’s and MND Family’s enterprise risk management (ERM) and resilience planning systems.You will be part of a team that assists MND management in providing oversight and guidance on the management of risks faced by the organisation and the larger MND Family, in the course of its functions. You will also be part of the Secretariat for the MND Family ERM platform.

What you will be working on :

You will work closely with stakeholders and management to identify and review key risks across the organisation, and discuss ways to effectively manage and monitor them. You will formulate, implement and review ERM and resilience planning frameworks, policies and processes, and foster an effective risk management culture through various initiatives.As the role involves working across the various functions of MND, you will be exposed to a good top-down overview of the organisation as well as our agencies. It also means that you will be expected to pick up and understand issues covering a diverse spectrum from the built environment to wildlife management, and analyse the risks pertaining to these areas. You must be able to work with stakeholders to construct a narrative that highlights our key risks and measures to manage them and improve our resilience planning, for discussion with MND management.You will have the opportunity to bring fresh perspectives and approaches to enhance our risk management and resilience planning capabilities.

What we are looking for :

• A Degree in any discipline.
• Working experience, preferably 3 or more years, in enterprise risk management, business continuity management, emergency planning, or related fields.
• Good organisational and interpersonal skills, and can collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to drive workstreams.
• A good team player who can work independently, and has strong sense of drive, responsibility and commitment.
• Ability to formulate a good helicopter view of the issues and risks facing the organisation, while also being able to zoom in and discuss with stakeholders on the details when required.
• Ability to think innovatively and propose enhancements, including technology adoption, etc, into risk management processes.Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
