About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented M&E (Mechanical Engineering) Drafter to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise engineering drawings and designs to support our projects.

Job Description

• Develop detailed Mechanical drawings, including layout plans, section plans, schematics, and control diagrams.
• Lead and guide 1 existing junior drafter.
• Prepare and produce shop drawings, as-built drawings, and / or construction drawings in accordance with the Project Department’s requirements.
• Ensure drawings comply with local building codes, regulations, and project requirements.
• Review and verify drawings for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain all drawing revisions, updates, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Complete drafting tasks within project timelines.
• Support project teams with administrative tasks, such as preparing reports and handling correspondences.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
