Roles & Responsibilities :
- Assist in the procurement of pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, and consumables to ensure timely availability for patient care.
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers on quotation requests, purchase orders, and delivery schedules.
- Verify and receive incoming stock against purchase orders, checking for accuracy, quality, and expiry dates.
- Maintain proper documentation of procurement activities, including invoices, purchase requisitions, and supplier records.
- Monitor stock levels, track usage trends, and assist in forecasting to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Support the pharmacy team in maintaining compliance with procurement policies, regulatory standards, and audit requirements.
- Conduct periodic inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies in the stock management system.
- Provide administrative support to the pharmacy department, including filing, data entry, and report preparation.
- Assist pharmacists and technicians in ensuring that procurement activities align with patient safety and operational needs.
Requirements
Minimum Higher Nitec and above or any other equivalent qualification.Prior experience in doing procurement for medication is a must.Good communication and strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and provide excellent service.Interested applicants, please email your updated CV to for more information.
