JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary :
This is a leadership acceleration program [LDP] which enables high potential early in career professionals to cultivate and refine your leadership skills in preparation for rewarding career in Supply Chain Management. This is a fast-paced development program offering challenging and diverse work, ongoing training and mentorship, executive exposure and a variety of opportunities to engage in strategy and special projects. As you prove successful in your assignments, you will be positioned in strategic leadership roles to bring our Supply Chain leadership depth to world-class status.
LDP Assignment :
Complete three 18-24 months assignments based on interests, developmental goals, and business needs.
Rotation within Procurement (Indirect) & Procurement (Direct raw material chemical), Planning, Manufacturing Engineering, Total Productive Maintenance, Quality or Logistics.
Job Responsibilities :
Managing Singapore spending sourcing for Direct and Indirect material
Prepare monthly savings reports and pipeline consolidation into procurement portal
Learn and apply Total Delivered Cost (TDC) sourcing process tool and skill to execute sourcing initiative
Identifies, develops, and implements sourcing strategies and savings projects
Engages supplier organization and internal stakeholders to achieve project milestones and action plans.
Support all business unit across Singapore for lower delivered cost through TDC model and savings initiatives
Develop alternate suppliers. Engages appropriate resources (Quality, Supply Chain, RDE, Regulatory) to qualify and approve potential new suppliers
Assembles contracts and implements supply positions to ensure the security of supply and achievement of procurement goals
Work closely with the Supply Chain team on inventory control, quality of materials, process safety for material used.
Knowledge and interest in sustainability for procurement.
Requirements :
Bachelor’ s degree in Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Logistics, or related degree
To manage Singapore direct and to have knowledge and interest in Procurement sustainability.
Comfortable working in manufacturing environments including plants and corporate environments.
Demonstrated relationship building skills and a mindset towards continuous improvement
Excellent communication, project management, and collaboration skills
Ability to plan, organize, and lead small and large projects
Proven leadership skills through extra curricular activities, volunteering, or work activities.
