Responsibilities :

• Provide safe, competent, and individualised nursing care aligned with patients’ needs and conditions.
• Uphold nursing standards in documentation, treatment, patient monitoring, and infection control.
• Allocate and manage medical equipment to ensure adequate resources for patient care.
• Communicate effectively and build rapport with patients, families, and caregivers.
• Coordinate patient care with physicians and act as liaison between families and medical teams.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure seamless care delivery.
• Comply with legal and organisational protocols for drug and medical supply storage.
• Implement safety measures and report incidents to Nurse Manager / Nurse Clinician.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient conditions, referrals, and attendances.
• Monitor and evaluate patient conditions to support care planning and family coping strategies.
• Administer medications and perform wound care as required.
• Ensure continuity of care through follow-up on treatment plans.
• Use equipment appropriately and manage consumables economically.
• Maintain confidentiality and discretion in all patient-related matters.
• Ensure a safe and conducive environment for patient care.
• Mentor junior staff to support performance and career development.
• Enforce compliance with Singapore Nursing Board’s Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics.
• Stay updated on industry guidelines and continuously develop relevant skills.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace organisation.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the work area.
