We are seeking a technically proficient and customer-focused Pre-Sales / Post-Sales Security Consultant for a leading Global Cyber Security Distributor to support the growing portfolio of cybersecurity solutions, with a strong emphasis on SIEM platforms such as Splunk . As a key member of our technical team, you will work closely with channel partners, resellers, and vendors , providing technical enablement, solution positioning, and implementation support throughout the sales cycle and post-deployment phase.
Key Responsibilities :
- Work in partnership with the sales and channel teams to support technical pre-sales activities, including presentations, solution demonstrations, and Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs).
- Assist partners and resellers in scoping, designing, and deploying cybersecurity solutions, particularly in SIEM (e.g., Splunk) and related technologies.
- Deliver technical workshops, enablement sessions, and product training for channel partners to ensure successful knowledge transfer.
- Provide post-sales implementation support, including configuration, onboarding of data sources, custom dashboard creation, and fine-tuning of SIEM use cases.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to partners and customers, guiding them on best practices in security architecture, deployment, and operations.
- Stay informed of evolving threat landscapes, security trends, and emerging technologies, sharing insights with internal teams and partners.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal product managers to support new product launches and ongoing solution enhancements.
- Assist in responding to RFPs, RFIs, and technical queries from customers and partners.
- Support channel marketing activities by participating in webinars, seminars, and industry events.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Skills and Experience :
Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity pre-sales or post-sales consulting , ideally within a distributor, vendor, or systems integrator environment .Strong hands-on experience with SIEM platforms , particularly Splunk; familiarity with other platforms (QRadar, LogRhythm, ArcSight) is an advantage.Good understanding of network security , including firewalls, IDS / IPS, endpoint protection, and threat intelligence solutions.Sound knowledge of network protocols (TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP) and layered security architecture.Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage both technical and non-technical audiences.Relevant certifications (e.g., Splunk Certified Admin / Architect , CISSP , CCNP Security , or vendor-specific certifications) are a strong advantage.Ability to manage multiple partners and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.A team-oriented mindset with a proactive attitude and a passion for cybersecurity.If this opportunity aligns with your skills and career goals, we encourage you to apply.
