Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities：

1. Business Support : Manage backend services for live streaming, short videos, and audio-video calls; Analyze needs, develop solutions, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure fast, high-quality delivery;

2. System Architecture : Optimize backend architecture for large-scale users; ensure high availability, scalability, security, and performance; refine analytics, monitoring, and alerting strategies;

3. Cost Optimization : Oversee resource use to maximize ROI for cloud, bandwidth, servers, and IDC; implement cost-control strategies with data-driven optimizations;

4. Team Management : Lead ~30-member teams, foster R&D skills, track emerging tech trends, promote knowledge sharing, and boost collaboration;

Requirements：

1. Education : Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field; Master’s preferred.

2. Experience : 10+ years in large-scale distributed systems R&D, including 5+ years in audio-video backend and 5+ years managing 20+ member teams; experience at major internet firms preferred;

3. Technical Skills :

• Expert in IP / TCP / UDP / RTMP / HLS / WebRTC / QUIC protocols, network congestion algorithms, and audio-video encoding (e.g., H.264 / H.265, AAC);
• Skilled in distributed system design, cloud / Kubernetes / IDC deployments, cloud and CDN optimization, and online issue resolution;
• Proficient in C++ and STL, Linux network programming, performance tuning, memory leak, and crash fixes; Go / Java knowledge a plus; open-source contributions a plus.

4. Soft Skills : Strong leadership, communication, and cross-team collaboration; experience managing multi-site teams of 20+.
