JOB SUMMARY
To develop, manage and / or provide investment solutions and propositions including ILP fund ideas / strategies to achieve top-line growth as well as identifying investment products for distribution channels, both internal and third parties taking into account and balancing regulatory, business and customer needs as well as adhering to internal approval and / or governance requirements. Operationally, to lead and oversee the daily ILP operational tasks ensuring compliance and adherence to company policies and processes.
To manage, lead and head the ILPS function on the following :
ILP Funds Selection & Maintenance
Develop and execute EIPL funds roadmap with key stakeholders.Oversee due diligence and monitoring of ILP funds, structured fund solutions and fund managers in accordance to EIPL Fund Selection & Maintenance Framework.Oversee management and due diligence of EIPL packaged funds, including mandates, asset allocation and rebalancing and performance reviews.Identify and execute potential value add solutions to enhance EIPL packaged funds proposition.Work with EIPL Product Implementation Work Group on implementation of BAU activities of ILP funds business, e.g. corporate actions, significant fund changes, funds closure, dividend declarations, etc.Oversee the preparation and update of fund related materials e.g. semi-annual and annual fund reports, MAS filings, product highlight sheet, fund factsheets, fund information booklets, etc.Provide marketing and training support to distribution and business partners.Review and make recommendations on ILP funds related assumptions in accordance with EIPL Fund Growth & Management Expense Assumptions Framework.Present proposals and updates to relevant management and Board committeesILP Funds Operations
Oversee daily ILP operational tasks ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.Identify and implement ILP process improvements to improve the efficiency of ILP operations in EIPL.Work with relevant stakeholders to carry out corrective actions to ILP funds related operational gaps and errors.JOB REQUIREMENTS
University degree, especially in Finance and Investment related fields.Professional degree (i.e CFA) is an added advantage.At least 10 years’ experience in investment, asset management, unit trust or investment linked funds industry.Having a wide network of relationships with fund managers and in-depth knowledge of funds operations is a strong plus.Tell employers what skills you have
