Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Java Card applets for smart card solutions.
Implement secure applications in compliance with EMV, Global Platform.
Work on card personalization, key management, and secure data storage.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (security, QA, product, integration) to deliver high-quality solutions.
Debug and resolve issues related to card lifecycle management and transaction processing.
Ensure compliance with security best practices in payment / identity systems.

Required Skills

3–7 years of professional experience in Java development, with at least 3+ years in Java Card technology .

Strong understanding of Java Card API, GlobalPlatform specifications, APDU commands.

Experience with smart card personalization, card issuance systems, and PKI-based authentication .

Knowledge of cryptography concepts (RSA, AES, DES, PKI, key exchange, certificates) .

Proficiency in debugging smart card applications and working with simulators / emulators.

Familiarity with secure elements (SE), payment cards, telecom SIMs, or eID solutions .
