- Job Description SummaryTo take charge on the operation and maintenance for facilities and critical system (ACMV, Chiller, Process Water, Compressed Air and etc) for SG2 plant but with support provided for SG1 plant.
Job DescriptionMaintenance of facilities and building systems. This position supports facilities engineers (supervisor) in maintaining one or more of the following facility systems : Process water system, HVAC system, clean room system, boiler system, incoming power, water supply, air compressed system, building maintenance, fire protection system, sanitary system and janitorial service
Key Responsibilities :
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and calibration of facilities systems include clean room system as assigned by supervisorSupport and attend to daily ad hoc minor requests from offices, warehouse, lab, EHS, etcPerform daily logging and inspection of facilities systems include clean room system to ensure that all systems are operating within specification and tolerancesAssist senior technician to oversee and ensure that contractor and vendor perform all tasks to specification (per predetermined work statement) and compliance to GxP and EHS requirement.Maintenance of clean room equipment (Scope and Magnifying lamp) and furniture (Table and chair)Respond and perform immediate repair for breakdowns of non-critical facilities systems. Escalate serious system breakdown to senior technician for corrective actionOther incidental duties assigned by LeadershipEducation and Experience :
Other : in National ITE Certificate (Nitec) in Engineering required
1 to 3 years previous relevant experience preferred
Experience working in a medical device manufacturing environment preferred

Good communication skillsBasic computer skills including MS Office skills and Internet ExplorerAble to read, comprehend, speak, and write EnglishModerate knowledge of HVAC system, Electrical system, Clean room system, RO water system, Steam boiler system and Compressed air systemModerate knowledge of GxP, Quality and EHS practicesModerate knowledge in relevant facilities related government regulations, (e.g., trade effluent, emission, building and fire protection code)Ability to use hand and power toolsAbility to identify problems and relevant issues in straightforward situations, assessing using standard proceduresStrict attention to detailAdhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence / controlTell employers what skills you have
