Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Deliver enterprise-level infrastructure services across network, servers, backup, and desktop environments.
  • Manage data centre and server room operations, ensuring service continuity through effective infrastructure management.
  • Implement new initiatives and enhancements that improve infrastructure efficiency and performance.
  • Collaborate with team leaders and service providers to plan and deliver infrastructure projects.
  • Work with central ICT teams to design infrastructure solutions that align with current and future needs.
  • Oversee infrastructure monitoring, maintenance, and issue resolution with service providers.
  • Manage the full procurement cycle, including budgeting, specifications, vendor selection, and invoice verification.
  • Develop budget forecasts and track expenditure.
  • Act as the point of contact for infrastructure-related projects and initiatives.
  • Partner with applications teams, users, and vendors to ensure infrastructure supports system needs.
  • Participate in architecture review and governance processes to maintain sustainable and resilient operations.
  • Carry out other duties assigned by IT leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
  • 3–5 years of experience in designing, deploying, and managing enterprise-level ICT infrastructure services.
  • Strong knowledge of network and server technologies, with exposure to infrastructure security.
  • Proven track record in ICT infrastructure management, including data centre operations and vendor management.
  • Familiarity with Singapore government IT infrastructure and processes is an advantage.
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and proactive professional.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
